Ridgeday Kennels of Montana announces its next planned breeding of two excellent German Shorthaired Pointers:
We have bred our female, Ridgeday's Elegance ("Elle") to Crosswind Truckin Fritz, out of the Crosswind Kennel in Michigan. These pups will be available for placement October 15, 2008.

Elle is a 2-year-old German Shorthair female. Her sire is Wildriver Jesse's Lee (a 5-time NSTRA champion) and her dam is Huenenbrink's Pearl (Pearl has double-bred Dixieland Rusty breeding). Elle is the granddaughter of Hilltop's Gerwitter Stormy, who has sired more NSTRA champions and placing German Shorthairs in Northwest Region history.
Elle is fast becoming the best shorthair on wild birds we have ever hunted with. She has also proven herself in NSTRA walk-behind trials and was the youngest dog to earn a place in the Big Sky Region last year. Elle took second place at the Big Sky Region Montana Shorthairs Trial held in Savage, Montana, on April 13, 2008.
Her conformation indicates her excellent breeding.

Fritz is one of the winningest shorthairs on today's trial circuit. He competes in walk-behind trials, such as NSTRA (National Shoot to Retrieve Assoc.), and has won everything in sight. He has double-bred Dixieland Rusty breeding.
Fritz is a 7-year-old German Shorthair male. His sire is Harrison's Blue Jesse and his dam is Stars Lacy Baby. Fritz is an 11-time NSTRA Champion, a 3-time Regional Champion and a NSTRA National Champion. He was also 3rd runner-up at the 2003 DOY Championship and 3rd runner-up at the 2006 DOY Championship. He was the high point dog in the Michigan Region in 2003/04 and 2004/05 and was the Michigan Region Finals Champion in 2005. Then at the Grand National Championship in 2005, Fritz was the 1st runner-up. Fritz won the first Quail Forever/NSTRA Championship on January 13, 2007, and he won the second Quail Forever/NSTRA Championship in January 2008. He has 197 lifetime points, of which 124 are first place points.
Fritz has produced pups that are already placing on the NSTRA trial circuit and he is one of the best wild bird dogs owned by the Crosswind Kennel.

This combination of Elle and Fritz should produce exceptional hunting dogs and walk-behind trialers. Both have hips rated OFA Good. Both have wonderful dispositions and are great family companions.
