Buck's Rawhide Eisenhower (Ike) is an extremely well bred dog out of Field Champion Born to Buck Badluck and Field Champion Rawhide Dixie Lee Clown MH. Ike had 3 litter mates (a brother and 2 sisters). His brother, Council Mountain Buzz Saw (Buzz), and his sisters 3D's Dixie Mocha Jo (Mocha) and 3D's Dixie's Cloud Dancer have all championed. Buzz finished runner-up at the 2005 NGSPA National Futurity and Dancer and Mocha were nationally ranked Derby dogs. Buzz also won the OGD event in the GSPCI Fall Field Trial. Ike's owner, Brad Schmitz, chose not to trial Ike but has hunted him extensively with great success on prairie grouse, pheasants, Huns and desert quail. Ike is an athletic, stately, well conformed, biddable dog. He is a pleasure to be around yet shows great intensity and endurance in the field.
Ike is a 6-year-old, medium sized (approximately 55 pounds) white and liver, patched and ticked male GSP. His father is white and liver and his mother is liver and roan so we may see a mixture of white and liver pups and liver and roan pups.
Ridgeday's Slick Sunday (Sunday) is born of two NSTRA field champions, Huenenbrink's Smudge Pot (Smudge) and Huenenbrink's Pearl (Pearl). Sunday has proven herself in the field and is the most intense and enthusiastic GSP we have hunted with. She is extremely athletic and powerful with quick, decisive moves in the field. She is a medium range dog who loves to hunt. She is staunch on point, a natural backer and a good retriever. We just started field trialing her and she qualified for the NSTRA Big Sky regional trial her first year out. We have hunted her on Huns, sharptail grouse, pheasants and she has trialed on quail and chukars.
Sunday is a 2-year-old, medium sized (approximately 50 pounds) white and liver, patched and ticked female GSP. Her father is liver and roan and her mother is white and liver, which indicates the cross with Ike will likely produce colorful dogs.
